David Mobley, Partner
David Mobley is a founding partner with the Atlanta-based CPA firm, CoNexus CPA Group, LLC. Mobley’s practice focuses on providing tax, accounting and assurance services to individuals and closely-held businesses.
Mobley brings more than three decades of tax, accounting and financial management experience to his current role. Prior to his joining CoNexus, Mobley founded and operated the CPA firm Mobley & Company; he served as Controller, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer for Garrett-Patton Construction Company /M.G. Patton Construction Company and was a member of the accounting and assurance services staff of Halligan Gilbert & Company CPAs, Smith & Radigan, P.C. CPAs (subsequently CBIZ, Inc) and Metcalf, Frix & Company, P.C. CPAs (subsequently Warren Averett).
Mobley is a graduate of Florida State University, a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs.
Mobley has served in numerous leadership positions for Florida State University including Chairman (2009-2011) and member of the Florida State University College of Business Board of Governors, Chairman (2005-2006) and member of the Florida State University Alumni Association National Board of Directors, a past chair and current member (2018- present) of the FSU Alumni Association Circle of Gold selection committee, a member (2005-2007) of the Florida State University Athletics Board of Directors, and President (2000-2002) and member of the Atlanta Seminole Club, Inc.. Mobley also served as President (2011-2012) and is currently and Ex-officio member of the Warrick Dunn Charities, Inc. Board of Directors and has been a member of the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Board of Advisors since 2016.
