About this Job

CoNexus CPA Group is currently seeking seasonal Interns (part-time or full-time) for the upcoming tax season (January 13th through April 30th) and would hope to extend full employment offers to some qualified candidates.

Our tax season Internship program is designed to immerse team members in a wide range of tax and audit projects in a fast-paced yet fun and collaborative professional environment. While at CoNexus, you’ll get hands-on experience and training using the latest software and technology. Our diverse client base includes everything from small companies to large multi-state businesses, investment funds, trusts and estates, charitable foundations, and high-income/net-worth families.

Tax Season Internship Opportunities:

  • Tax return preparation, including workpaper and client binder preparation, primarily for individual and business returns
  • QuickBooks accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Participation on audit teams, including offsite fieldwork at client offices
  • Spreadsheet projects to sort and analyze data
  • Scanning, organizing, and filing important client data
  • Participation in team building exercises and social events at The Battery and other local venue

Qualifications:

  • Student in a master’s program or a Junior/Senior in a Bachelor’s degree program
  • College major in at least one of the following: accounting, finance, economics, or business
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
